L’Era, Espai de Recursos Agroecològics, is a 27 years old association whose main objectives are the promotion of organic agricultural production and agroecology. It was born under the impetus of the team of teachers and people from the Manresa Agricultural School, specialized in organic agricultural production.
The entity works through different projects to achieve its objectives: training in agroecology, the conservation of a seed bank of local varieties, the quarterly publication of a magazine on agroecology, and also the promotion of projects for the exchange of experiences between farmers, demonstration and research to disseminate agronomic models that increase production efficiency, increase the resilience of the agrosystem, help reduce dependence on inputs and contribute to the improvement of ecosystems.
