The Bioeconomy Science Institute, is a New Zealand Public Research Organisation. Our science advances innovation in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, aquaculture, biotechnology and manufacturing; protects and enhances ecosystems from biosecurity threats and climate risk; and develops new bio-based technologies and products.
Our science develops new products, processes and technologies that optimise the use of biological resources to deliver food and materials from a resilient supply chain while protecting the natural environment. We translate science into real-world outcomes, impact and commercial success for our partners.
Role in the project
The New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science contributes to the project through its involvement in the New Zealand MAGHub under WP1.
It also contributes to the development and assessment of decision-support tools within WP5.
